Ancient Languages/Latin Translations

Question
Me and a friend of mine are developing a game based on evolutionary divergence, and we wanted to use the proper Latin words for some of our species. I've tried many online Latin translators but none of them have been very reliable. Could you please translate the following for me:-

Water-Man
Mountain-Man
Jungle-Man
Desert-Man

I think they should all start with homo but I'm not shure. Thanks for youre help.

Answer
Hi,

Here are the translations you need. The first three  start with the Latin word HOMO meaning MAN, while the 4th. cannot start with ‘Homo' as there is no adjective for ‘Desert' and then we must use ‘Desertorum incola” meaning literally ‘desert dweller'.

Water-Man = Homo aquaticus
Mountain-Man = Homo montanus
Jungle-Man = Homo selvaticus
Desert-Man =Desertorum  Incola

Bye
Maria
