Question
Hello,
I would like to translate the following phrases to Latin:
"sky blue on grey skin" (this is a free translation of spanish phrase "Corazón celeste en piel gris".

Thank you!

Ronald

Answer
Hello Ronald,

If you want to translate the English phrase “sky blue on grey skin”, here it is:

“Caelum caeruleum supra cineream cutem ”.

I must however point out that in Latin, like in English as well,  this sentence sounds very strange because it does not make sense.

Moreover, though I do not speak Spanish, I know that ‘Corazón'  is ‘heart' in English, not ‘sky' (‘cielo' in Spanish).

To conclude, I'm wondering if  “sky blue on grey skin” matches correctly “Corazón celeste en piel gris”.

Let me know about.
Best regards
Maria
