Question
I was wondering if you'd be able to translate these two phrases from English to Latin.

Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river.

and,

Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal.

Thanks.

Answer
Hello,

Here are the translations you asked me:

-“Innocens numquam effundetur sanguis, malorum contra ut flumen  fluet sanguis“ (Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river)

-“Noli occidere. Noli stuprare. Noli furari” (Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal).

Best,
Maria

-innocent = INNOCENS
-blood = SANGUIS
-yet = CONTRA
-the blood = SANGUIS

As you can see, Latin word order differs from English and moreover can be variable, according to writing style of an author.

-Do not = NOLI
