Question
Hi there, I can't figure out what this says: "Intelligenia, Vires, Virtus" It's a school motto in my area, and I'm trying to put together a package for my work and all the other mottos are already translated except this one. Thanks a bunch.

Answer
Hello,

the school motto "Intellegentia, Vires, Virtus" means:
-“Intellect, Strength, Valour “
as well as:
-“Understanding, Strength, Courage”.

Best regards,
Maria

Note that:
-INTELLEGENTIA (not Intelligenia) is a nominative feminine singular, 1st.declension, meaning “intellect, intelligence, understanding”.

-VIRES (nominative feminine plural of VIS, 3rd.declension) means “strength”.

-VIRTUS (nominative feminine singular, 3rd.declension) means “valour, courage”, though it can mean also  “virtue”.
