Question
Please translate this from English to Latin. In memory of the fallen soldiers. Also I read this phrase in a magazine with no translation, what does it mean: quod me nutrit me destruit. Thank you.

Answer
Hello,

The sentence “In memory of the fallen soldiers” can be translated into Latin as follows:

“Ad perpetuam militum  memoriam qui pro patria mortui sunt”.

As for “Quod me nutrit me destruit”, it means:

- “What feeds me destroys me too”
or:
-“What nourishes me also destroys me"

Have a nice day.
Maria
