Question
Bello ac Pace Paratus

Answer
Hello,

the motto “Bello ac Pace Paratus” means:

-“In war and peace prepared”
or
-“Ready in War and Peace”.

In fact BELLO (ablative of BELLUM) means ‘in war’; AC means ‘and’; PACE (ablative of PAX)  means ‘in peace’; PARATUS ( nominative masculine) means ‘prepared’ / ‘ready’.

Best,
Maria
