Ancient Languages/An eglish phrase translated into Latin
Expert: Maria - 1/4/2005
QuestionDear Maria.
I am trying to get the following phrase translated into Latin:
NEVER FORGET THOSE WHOSE HEARTS YOU'VE BROKEN
It is a very personal line involving a recent relationship break up
and is to be tattooed on my arm so i really want to get it right.
I've attempted to contact many (ten so far) online translators and
the websites are always down. Then i came across you.
If you can help with this translation i would be very grateful.
Kind Regards
Steph
AnswerDear Stephane,
Glad to help you.
So, your phrase : “Never forget those whose hearts you've broken” can be translated into Latin as follows:
“Noli umquam oblivisci eos quorum corda angoribus confecisti”
Please note that:
Never = UMQUAM
Forget = NOLI OBLIVISCI
Those = EOS
whose = QUORUM
hearts = CORDA
you've broken = ANGORIBUS CONFECISTI
All the best
Maria
