QuestionI am having difficulty searching the web for the ancient latin lettering. Where can I find the ancient lettering for latin and/or how would you write "Spirtual Perfection" in latin with ancient lettering? Thank You
AnswerHello,
First of all I have to point out that the ancient Latin lettering, that is the real Latin alphabet, is exactly the one you are using now.
Still today in fact we use the same Latin alphabet used by the Romans in ancient times.
In short, the Latin alphabet is still today the standard script of the languages of most of Europe and those areas settled by the Europeans, like America, of course.
Therefore “Spiritual Perfection” is written in Latin as follows:
“Animi perfectio”.
Note that:
-Spiritual = ANIMI (genitive of ANIMUS,2nd.declension. Literally, “of the spirit”, as Latin prefers the noun instead of the adjective).
-perfection =PERFECTIO (nominative, 3rd.declension)
As you can see, Latin word order differs from English.
Best regards,
Maria

The ancient Latin alphabet consisted of 23 capital letters:
A B C D E F G H I K L M N O P Q R S T V X Y Z
It was from these uppercase letters that the following lowercase letters developed, with the addition of the vowel “u “, so that the alphabet became of 24 letters, i.e.:
a b c d e f g h i k l m n o p q r s t u v x y z
