Question
know thyself

Answer
Hello,

Here are the translations of the sentence:"Know thyself".

LATIN:  "Nosce te ipsum" or ”Cognosce te ipsum”.

Please note that:
Know = NOSCE  (or COGNOSCE)
Thyself = TE IPSUM

**This  is the Latin translation of an ancient  Greek sentence(see below).

ANCIENT GREEK: “Gnothi sauton”.

Please note that:
Know = GNOTHI
Thyself = SAUTON

**This sentence was on the pediment of the temple of Apollo [the god of Light, Truth, Music and Medicine] at Delphi, Greece.

Best regards
Maria
