Question
I was playing with the idea of naming my dog after a version of the latin word citius. I was wanting to know how the adverb, would be changed to other forms such as the word for "fast" rather than "faster" or a noun version such as "swiftness" or a version that would mean "the fast one".

Answer
Hello,

“Citius” (faster) is the comparative of the adverb “cito” ( fast, soon, quickly).

As for ‘a noun version such as "swiftness" or a version that would mean "the fast one", here they are:

-"Celeritas” or “Velocitas”  mean “swiftness".

-“Velox” or “Celer” mean “"the fast one".

Have a nice day.
