Question
Hi! This is my first time asking you a question, but I've seen your past answers and seem to be very knowledgeable with the Latin language.  I would appreciate it if you could translate "unconditional love" to Latin.
Thank you so much!

sincerely, Lauren

Answer
Hello Lauren,

Here’s the translation of "unconditional love”:

1-“Amor absolutus”
Or:
2- “Absolutus amor” with a different word order which in Latin can be variable.

Note that AMOR (nominative masculine singular ) means ‘love’ and ABSOLUTUS (nominative masculine singular agreed with AMOR) means ‘unconditional’.

As for Latin  word order, it can be variable and often depends on writing style of an author. This however is not a problem  as Latin declension by cases  gets everyone to  discern the case of a word.

Best regards,
Maria
