Question
Hi,
would you be so kind as translate the following sentence into English?

Nec tamen sequitur quod omnia alia a se sint ei ignota; nam intelligendo se, intelligit omnia alia.

Answer
Hello,

here’s the translation of this St.Thomas Aquinas’s passage on Aristotle’s  Metaphysics:

”This however does not mean that He [i.e. God] does not know all those things which are other than He himself is; in fact thinking on himself He knows all other things”.

Best,
Maria
