Question
I am a 57 YO female who has had gastric bypass 5 years ago. I am now going in to have a 'tummy tuck' but an concerned about anesthesia since my recent blood pressure check was 90/56. I am very active and good health. Should I have any concerns?

Answer
Hi Terry
The answer is no reason why this op should be a problem for you. You have come through a much bigger operation when you were overweight - so don't worry now. Your blood pressure is not a problem and I'm sure your anaesthetist will be able to reassure you when you meet them.
All the best
