Question
Hey doc. Sorry for being a pain, i have to have a couple of fillings at the dentist the day before my strabismus surgery, will the local anaesthetic used to numb my mouth interfere with the general anaesthetic used the next day?
+ Thankyou very much for your words i am not worried any more because of your advise......the anesthesiologists have studied and been in the thick of it for 12 years and more so i have nothing to worry about do i? Thanks... rob

Answer
Hi there Rob
No it won't be a problem, your body will have got rid of the local anaesthetic long before you have your GA. Also we often use local anaesthesia at the same time as a GA to make you more comfortable - so no problem.
You will be fine.
