Question
Hi

I wish to go to medical school to become an anasthesiologist and I was wondering how difficult that is and what sorts of things you learn in the first year?

Answer
You need to finish 4 yrs of medical school and then 4 yrs of anesthesiology training. Medical school is very difficult as is anesthesia training because there is a lot to learn but if you put your mind to it, it is certainly doable. In the first year of nedical school you learn anatomy, neuroscience, embryology, biochemistry and physiology
