Anesthesiology/Anesthesia versus sedation

Question
I had Malignant Hyperthermia as a result to general anesthetic and would like to have breast augmentation? Is sedation possible?

Answer
Yes it is (depending on the type of augmentation). You can still have a general anesthetic as long as they don't use a triggering agent. So make sure to tell the anesthesiologist (well in advance) that you have had MH so they can prepare the anesthesia machine and their anesthetic plan to provide a safe anesthetic for you.
