Question
hi
I just wanted to know if there are any recommendations for schools leading into the anesthesia residency thing.Im only in 10th grade, and this is the career I'm really interested in.I was also wondering if you could just just explain a little more about it?
If this is to much i understand.
thank you

Answer
There are no schools leading to anesthesiology. You have to first go to college, then medical school and then anesthesiology. Being in 10th grade, you have 10 yrs before you have to choose an anesthesiology residency program. Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia for all surgical, obstetric and outpatient procedures. We are responsible for monitoring the vital signs of the patient and maintaining homeostasis during the procedure.
