Anesthesiology/Salary

Question
I'm very stuck as to what I'd like to do for a career. I hear that anesthesiologists make 250k-400k a year.. Is that correct? It sounds like something I'd like to do but the schooling sounds HARD... And knowing that the salary is that high would help make up my mind.

Answer
Never pick a creer by how much money you make. You have to love what you do first. Yes, the salary rangfe is probably correct but the schooling is hard (12 years after high school), and the work is hard, stressful and you are always at risk for malpractice. Before you decide on a career, find out what you like and go from there.
