Question
Hello, i am a 24 year old college student and am interested in a career as an anesthesiologist. I have sifted through different medical career possibilities and decided that anesthesiology is what i want to pursue. I am writing to get some clarity on the process and also want to know if you suggest a particular major that would be the most beneficial in my endeavor? Thanks in advance.

Answer
The process is you need 4 yrs college, 4 yrs of emdical school and then 4 yrs of anesthesiology training. The major in college doesn't matter as long as you take the required prerequisite course for medical school.
