I am Ryan Long, currently in 9th grade managing to maintain all A's and about a year ago i found major interest in anesthesiology. Do you have any advice that could lead me further or to my future occupation?

From you spelling I guess you are in the USA. I'm UK based and could tell you abpout what we can do but it would not be the same as the states. Please look at the past answers of my American colleague Dr Levy as this is a common question. I am a Consultant Anaesthetist in the UK. My interests include ambulatory or day surgery, obstetric anaesthesia and analgesia, acute pain management (use of epidurals and patient controlled analgesia)anaesthesia for surgery on the airway, orthopaedics and most things except brains and hearts. Interest in prehospital care of trauma and provision of medical cover at motorsport events.
