Question
Today is Saturday 3rd May 2008 and yesterday my Step Daughter had a sterilisation operation using keyhole surgery. She had a general anaesthetic and was in and out of hospital on the same day. She is feeling fine  but is using pain relief. We would like her to come and visit us in Spain, flying from Birmingham airport to Murcia, a flight of some two hours forty five minutes. How soon do you suppose she could fly?

Answer
Hi Ralph
There is no set answer to this question. However I would advise that she would be OK to travel as soon as she is comfortable enough to do so. The operation she has had is relatively non invasive and so she should feel OK to travel after a couple of days.
Kind regards
