Question
Dear Doctor,
i am 18yrs old and at the begining of my life. i start college in two months and i don't want to start off with the wrong path. I've dreamt of becoming a medical doctor throughout my life. i love medicine, i breathe it, i live it, it fascinates me. the thing is i don't know what to major in, i want a major that will make it easy for me to find a job while waiting for my medical school entrance. i am also interested in nurse anesthesiology and pharmacy i just don't know how to connect the two. Could please give me some insight or help me decide on a major that will benefit me before, during and after medical school.

Answer
I don't know what you mean by "...job while waiting for entrance to medical school". You enter medical school immediately after college. You should major in whatever field interests you the most. It does not have to be a science major. College is for exploring your interests so let that be your guide. As for nurse anesthesia and pharmacy, these are completely different paths so I can't really guide you on these.
