Question
I have recently had a Steriod Epidural done to my C-SPine due to a compressed c-spine, the majority of the pain has dimished, yet I have numbness in my thumb, first second finger half my hand and the underside of my arm. Along with that I have weakness in the muscle on the underside of my arm and my gait is somewhat off still...is this normal? will they have to do something else to alieviate these issues

Answer
Hi there Sonya
I'm glad that the injection has helped. However it is important to understand that it only tends to help the pain element of your problem. It will not tend to improve muscle function and sensation.
You need to discuss these symptoms with your doctors and what options are open to you.
Kind regards
