Question
why and when sevoflorane is used instaed of halothane and specially for whon this agent is specialy used and why.

Answer
Hi there Fazai
In the UK sevoflurane is quite popular amongst anaesthetists and some people use it routinely. Halothane is now seldom used - though some of us (we tend to be the older ones who used Halothane a lot) still prefer it for gas induction.
Sevoflurane is felt to be good for speed of induction and speed of recovery.
Kind regards
