Question
what is the process of becoming an anesthesiologist? approximately how many years will this take? im in my second year of college and i decided to switch my major to be anesthesiologist and i have took just general studies such as, African American studies, biology, psychology, and a few English classes..

Answer
You need 4 yrs of college, 4 yrs of med school and 4 yrs of residency training to be an anesthesiologist. You need to take all the premed requied courses that your college advising center can tell you. I would speak with the pre-med advising office of your college to find out what you need to do.
