Question
i am 37 years old. when i originally went to college 20 years ago, i was too immature and screwed up royally. i have started all over again at a city college and am doing well. i did not tell them about my previous academic shortcomings. i have researched what i want to do, and have chosen anesthesiology. am i just chasing something i am now too old to pursue realistically?  friends, and even a few doctors have to told to pursue my dream, but just do not waste anymore time.

Answer
This really doesn't require the expertise of an anesthesiologist or physician---but more that of a career counselor......which I am not.  Nevertheless, you know the timeline involved to become an anesthesiologist and what it will entail, so make the most informed decision you can make!  And the very best to you in your endeavors, anesthesia or otherwise.
