Question
I am currently in my first year at a community college. I really would love to be an anesthesiologist. I'm majoring in General Studies because the college that I attend don't have a program for that study. My question is, What classes should I take? and am I wasting time by attending a community college?
                Thank you,

Answer
To become an anesthesiologist, you need to complete a 4 yr bachelor's degree at a college or university. Community college does not qualify for that. There are a number of prerequisite courses that you need to complete in order to get into medical school. After 4 yrs in medical school, then you start to study to be an anesthesiologist.
