Anesthesiology/Lip numbness

Question
Three days ago, I had an EGD & Colonoscopy. Absolutely no complications, but when I awoke from anesthesia, my lower lip was numb with an abraded or blister-type area noted on the inner surface.  I thought that my lip must have gotten "caught" between the bite block & my teeth, so I didn't think much about it initially.  My lip is still numb - especially the lower lip. It feels like I've used 'Ora-jel' or similar product.  Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Answer
That is probably correct and it may persist for several days to weeks but it should go away. If it doesn't or it gets worse, you should be sen by your doctor. There is not much else you can do.
