Question
Hi, I'm due to have surgery on my neck tomorrow and iv got a cold, its all in my  head but i feel ok, do you think the surgery will still go ahead as i do not want it postponed.

Answer
This will be down to your anaesthetist and will depend on how you are tomorrow. I suspect there is a fair risk of cancellation but really does depend on how well you are on the day.
Sorry can't be more helpful than this but there is no cure I can offer. It is difficult when you have organised your life around getting the op - however your safety must come first.
