Anesthesiology/Dental surgery

Question
I am having a small dental procedure tomorrow ( bonding and exposure of a tooth) I have had the surgery before and was curious about the interaction with the use of marijuana and anestesia. Are there any harmful effects to smoking marijuana the night before a surgery more than twelve hours prior to the procedure?

Answer
Twelve hours??? Probably not directly relating to the THC content of your blood that far out.  There may be many indirect consequences, though, that are not well known since the matter has not been well-studied.

Why not simply show up at the dentist's office awake, well-rested and sober?
