QUESTION: I heard about Sanford Brown College, they have anasthesia, so i start there and i finish it wich would be how long? then 4 years of medical school, and then anasthesia residency, so this would all be like 9 yrs?

Answer
Sanford Brown is an Institute, not a college and they offer programs for Anesthesia technology, not anesthesia. Their program teaches you how to help an anesthesiologist with equipment, etc but is not a college degree program. You need 4 yrs of college or universitry, 4 yrs med school and 4 yrs anesthesia residency for a total of 12 yrs after high school.
