Question
I have heard that anesthesiologists are not at the hospital the time and i have also heard that they are. I would like to know how much time they spend at the hospital or clinic and how often they get vacations. This career really interests me but i am also afraid that i will not have a lot of time to spend with my family.

Answer
The premise that you are a candidate, let alone a serious candidate, for anesthesiology or medical school is erroneous.  Future anesthesiologists in all cultures around the world are serious students who are people and science-oriented types spending exhaustive hours honing basic skills and then planning for years of advanced study in areas more directly tied to medicine and its subspecialties.  You can't even write and proofread a proper sentence in your native language!  Your self-serving time worry cannot compete with tens of thousands of people in their teens and twenties in the US, Asia, and Europe who rise at dawn and study 'til bedtime in hopes of someday being the best doctors and scientists they can be!

But enough I my evading your initial question!............successful people in all walks of life all work like CRAZY!  The Bill Gates, the Barack Obamas, the Condoleeza Rices of the world are
"in the office" "all the time".

Time for you to change gears:  You might want to read "The Energy Bus" by Jon Gordon.
