Question
how is the eye anesthetized and what medicine
is used for eye surgery; cataracts, cornea transplants, etc.
thanks.

Answer
It can be done several ways (depending on the surgery and the surgeon). It can be done with a topical anesthetic or the surgeon can do a retrobulbar block with a combination of Lidocaine, Bupivicaine and Hyaluronidase.
