Question
On July 6 I had a Rectocele / Enterocele with sphincter repair. I very disturbed that I cannot eat because of a lump in my throat and a terrible after taste I cannot explain. Almost like a pepper taste. This in itself has made me feel miserable . Should I report to my Dr and how long should I endure before I do ? Thanks, really do love to eat and miss my food.

Answer
Your anesthesiologist should be made aware of this potentially-related-to-anesthesia problem.  Call him or get in touch with him through your surgeon's office or the operating room where you had your surgery.
Consciencious anesthesiologists all follow-up the recovery period with some mechanism to obtain feedback from their patients after-the-fact to ascertain that complications are addressed and kept to a minimum.
