Question
Hi I am currently twenty one week s pregnant and am set to have a basil cell removed in a couple days. I will see my dermotologist first and then the plastic surgeon. They both are going to use a local anesthesia. Im very concerned and im wondering if i should wait longer for the proceduer. I am extramly high risk i lost a baby last year when i was twnty four weeks due to a cord stricture and im also on Lovenox. What do you think?

Answer
There is no problem with respect to the local anesthesia (assuming no sedation). The problem is more surgical (related to the Lovenox). I would make sure with the surgeons that he is OK operating while you are on it.
