Question
QUESTION:
What College courses should I take as a freshman in college to become an anesthesiologist. Keep in mind that I aam attending a community college in the Antelope Valley. Avc.edu. I have no clue where to start and I am afraid that the decisions I make now about my classes are going to affect my future, please help with specific courses and a freshman.

ANSWER: The first thing I would tell you is to get into a 4 yr college. Community college will not get you into medical school, so the more time you spend there, the more time you will lose. Once in the 4 yr college, any academic advisor can help you set up your courses for medical school.

QUESTION: But what if my GPA is low? Would staying in community college for the first two years help?

Answer
It may help you to understand the material at the 4 yr college better, but most of the credit you get at the community college won't count towards to baccalaureate degree and may even be looked down upon by medical schools.
