Question
QUESTION: i recently had a operation which was done under a general anesthetic after the operation in recovery i was feeling fine an then all of a sudden i took a turn for the worse and since then i have had some severe dizzy spells at some points i have passed out what could be the cause of this please thank you.

ANSWER: Without much information, it would be hard to tell. What type of operation, how long ago, how long was the surgery, was there much bleeding, etc. It is not likely due to anesthesia but more likely due to surgery but without more info, I can't even venture a guess.

QUESTION: well i had a lump removed on the 24th august 09 from my left breast it all went so well. i then came in for an incision and drainage on my left breast i had this done 25th Sept 09 it lasted about 45mins. and there wasn't much bleeding. my breast is fine but i feel generally unwell i am trying to rest but also stay active but i am dizzy and feel sick all the time an if i walk far distance i almost pass out the Dr said he can send me home but i am worried i will end up back in straight away due to my dizziness. thank you.

Answer
I still doubt that anesthesia is the issue here as it is > 24 hours after surgery but you might be dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking lots of liquids and eating well. This should all pass very soon.
