Question
I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted and had a very bad reaction the the combo of Fentanyl,Versed and Propofol that I was given.  This was administered by a technician working in the office who the doctor claimed was working under her license.  I am trying to find who is able to administer this iv sedation under Colorado law.  Is there a specific site to find this?

Answer
I don't know Colorado law but the only people able to give Propofol are physicians and nurse anesthetists who have been trained to give it. As for a technician doing it, I don't know the legality but since the Doctor is claiming he is doing it under his license and responsibility, he takes full responsibilty for any complications from that administration. YUou might check with your State Medical Board.
