Question
I had a baby a year ago, during my labor i had a epidural, i am having severe back pain now, to the point where i cant sit or stand for long periods. I've never experienced back pain until after having the epidural. is this normal?

Answer
If you didn't have the pain immediately after the epidural (I'm talking days to several weeks) then the back pain is not likely due to the epidural. You might have a herniated disc. I would check with a neurologist or a back surgeon. I doubt this is due to the epidural.
