Question
Hi I am a freshman in college I started off undecided but I'm really becoming interested in anesthesiology. I'm very aware it's a hard career to pursue and I'm willing to try my hardest to succeed. What's your best advice to someone just starting to pursue this career choice?

Answer
You have a long way to go. First you must finish college, then 4 yrs of medical school and then you start anesthesiology training. It is likely that, before that time you might find a different specialty that you like. MY advice is to keep your options open and when you get to medical school, see what strikes your fancy.
