Question
I am currently going to a community college and I plan on transferring to UC after I finish my two years here. In the mean while, what classes should I be taking to prepare me for medical school after I finish my four years in college? I've planned on taking a lot of sciences as well as psychology classes. Is it necessary for me to complete math classes above calculus for this job? Of course I understand that I should just excel in all challenging classes that would easily support me towards this job, but I'm just curious in the minimum requirements that are needed.

Answer
First of all, the community college courses will not help you towards medical school requirements. As for courses to take, when you get to a 4 yr college, they will tell you what is needed for medical school. You do not need more than Calculus. You will need organic and inorganic chemistry, physics, biology and english.
