Question
Hello Dr. My son had his tonsiles out a few years back, he finally woke three hours after the procedure. We were told he has this pseudo cholinesterase deficiency. Is it only the Succinylcholine that affected him? Should I be aware of other things that will shut down his body, I think he is starting to experiment with Marijuana will the fertilizers or certain pesticides affect his body at all, any and all info will be greatly appreciated...

Answer
Aside from the fact that he shouldn't be experimenting, a pseudocholinesterase deficiency would only be impacted by succinylcholine. He certainly should stay away from fertilizers and pesticides!
