Question
Hello my name is Ashley and i am currently a Senior in high school. i was wondering what college classes did you have to take before becoming an anesthesiologist because when i was applying for colleges i didn't know what courses to put down, also, what is the best Medical School should I apply for?

Answer
All anesthesiologists are physicians--in college you will have to meet the entrance requirements of whatever medical school to which you apply....consult the online catalogs of a few med schools to get an idea of what you're in for. It is too early for you to concern yourself with the evaluation of various medical schools--stick to the task at hand for now.  Also, become thoroughly familiar with what is going on in medicine right now...the website of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons (AAPSOnline.org) is one excellent source of information and current medical 'stuff'.

Best of luck.
