Anesthesiology/Trouble waking up.

Question
In the past 10 years I have had 2 surgeries under general anesthesia.  In both cases it has taken me 4-6 hours longer than expected to come out of the anesthic.  In both cases I could hear the nurse getting permission to give me more "drugs" to wake me up.  Should I be concerned.

Answer
I don't really know what that means..."taking too long to wake up". Clearly you must mean in the recovery room since they would'n keep you in the OR for that long, but without looking at your anesthetic records, I would be hard-pressed to venture a guess. In general I wuld say it is nothing to worry about but I really need more information.
