hi, i am dr anil sharma practice as anaesthetist  in india. i have a case for pcnl. patient had a history of inferior wall mi 3 months ago.At present Patient,s ecg show rbbb. can i give spinal anaesthesia for this case.patient also have history of copd.

Hi there
You can give spinal anaesthesia or general anaesthesia for this patient. Either way you chose you should try and maintain a good blood pressure, avoid tachycardia and avoid overdosing with fluids. As I'm sure you know avoiding tachycardia and increases in left ventricular filling pressure are best to maintain a good blood supply to the myocardium.
