Question
what is a hip aspiration and will i b asleep

Answer
Hi Samantha
This rather depends on the person doing the procedure. It can be done under local anaesthesia especially when done under ultrasound guidance in an X-Ray department. However also done under general anaesthesia by some clinicians - sorry can't tell you which way yours will be performed.
Kind regards
