Question
I have been diagnosed with metastatic throat cancer and have to have biopsy surgery within the next 2weeks. I have been on meth almost daily for 8 months and heard that that if your going to have anethesia it is dangerous to have in your system. Beleive me I don't want any complications so am I going to be ok? Thank-you for your help and God Bless You  FOR HELPING PEOPLE!

Answer
Assuming the Meth is under physician supervision, then there is not a problem, as long as the anesthesiologist knows about it so that he can adjust his anethetic accordingly. You certainly should stop it without a doctors guidance. You might want to contact your primary physician and/or your anesthesiologist to ask him what his recommendations are.
