Question
I am currently in high school and am planning out the college I need to attend to. What college would help the most in the long run of being an Anesthesiologist, and will also be a good prep for medical school? Also what should I major in college to help me the most in future schooling? Lastly would volunteering at a hostpital help my resume for getting into medical school?

Answer
There is no college that is better than any other as far as preparing you for medical school and anesthesiology training. It also doesn't matter what you major in as long as you take all the pre-requisite courses for medical school. As for volunteering, it is always a good idea to get involved in health related activites, not only to buff your resume but also to make sure that this is what you're really interested in.
