Anesthesiology/Lumbar injections

Question
I have had 3 shots in neck and 2 shots in lumbar since Jan 2011.
Since this summer I have been out of breath a lot and wheezing.
I only noticed this as of June but don't rememeber doing
this before.
My question is all these shot affect my breathing in any way.
They have me on inhalers which do not even work.
Also I have gained about 12-lbs since all these injections.
i was told they do not cause weight gain.Don't believe that.

Thanks for your help

Answer
Hi Debbie
I'm sorry but the weight gain is very unlikley to be linked to the injections. Perhaps despite these injections you are not able to exercise as much as before and so you have gained weight and become less fit, this would also explain the breathlessness.
Sorry I suspect that is not the answer you want but my advice is to get yourself moving and exercising as much as possible. It was the only thing that helped my back!
