Question
Dr. Levy, i am looking for a good school to go to for this particular field. the majority of the schools that i am applying to only have majors in nursing for a bachelors degree. is this a good route to go? if so, what should i do or where should i go upon completion of a bachelors in nursing? would i have to take the MCAT and go to an actual medical school? if not, what would be a better way to go?

Answer
You can get a bachelor's degree in anything (even History, if you want) as long as you take all the pre-med required courses. You would then take the MCATs, go to medical school and then anesthesia residency.
